Task 1:Ideas Proposal
For task one, we needed to identify three themes and record a ten-minute video explaining our ideas. Let the teacher determine our next topic.
Our three themes are:
1. Window decoration paper-cutting,
2. Hanfu and brocade,
3. Buddha thangka.
We have a clear division of labor. Three people write ppts and three people give speeches.
I am one of the speech team.
What follows is what I said.

Fig1.2:Regarding the relationship between Buddha statues and thangkas.

Task1 Final Report:
Task 2:Yunjin Hanfu
Data Collection:
The teacher set our theme as Yunjin Hanfu.
Through the Internet, we learned about the historical origins of Yunjin silk and satin and Hanfu.
This time I was assigned the task of summarizing the innovation, inheritance, and significance of Hanfu in different eras.
After constant searching on the Internet, I learned that the ancient costumes of each era have different meanings.

Again combined with the online information search, real practice and interviews in the ppt. Inherit the intangible cultural heritage of Yunjin, pursue spiritual and meaningful works, and create the emanation of the soul of Yunjin that will never be broken.
Let more people know him. Use inherited technology to reproduce modern tastes and boldly innovate in a modern environment. Show the beauty of creation.
Final Outcome
This is the final ppt of our group.
Final Project: Visyal Desgin Outcome
Our creations are bookmark design and packaging design.
We used artificial intelligence to create a digital version and improve upon the original draft.
After group discussion, we decided that the final output would be a bookmark designed with Yun Jin elements. So, we found a Chinese-style bookmark design reference and showed it to the instructor, who then approved our idea.
Bookmark:
Proportion: 15cm*5cm

Final Outcome
Feedback
Week 4:
After we submitted the three plans, the final feedback we received was the proposal to use Yunjin Hanfu.
Week 5:
Our data collection needs more information and reasons about Yunjin rather than all Hanfu. and detailed interviews are required.
Week 6:
Last week, miss.maria took one of our bookmark sketches and reported back that we needed to design a packaging for the bookmark.
REFLECTION
Experience:
This semester's cross-cultural design course is full of challenges. I have never had a deep understanding of Hanfu, so this course is very fresh. In the group,.
We communicated and cooperated by reviewing information and understanding each other’s Hanfu.
Observation:
In practice, the topic of cross-cultural design is very broad, so it is difficult for us to unify our opinions, which is even more difficult for us.
We communicated and shared and chose a theme that everyone was satisfied with.
Findings:
I learned about cultural diversity, the important value of collaboration and teamwork.
This project required more innovation and thinking skills, and I also learned about the historical origin and inheritance value of Yunjin silk and satin.
