Exercise 1 - Quantify & Visualize Data

For our first exercise, we are required to quantify (count) items of our choice, and arrange them into a presentable layout/chart .
I chose M&Ms because I didn't have buttons at home.

First I divide the same color M&Ms into one portion.

I used the amount of sugar above to create a butterfly, but the butterfly felt strange. So I made some changes.

Final Submission

I've increased the amount of sugar in these colors. Use their original colors to spell out their corresponding colors of fruit.

Exercise 2 - L.A.T.C.H

For our second exercise, we are required to organize a group of information into a visual poster that combines and utilizes the LATCH principles.

So I chose a game I played recently: Cookie Man, because I found it very interesting.

This is the material I was looking for when I made this informational poster.

In this, I introduce the leaders of each cookie country and their past stories, and next to them are representatives of each cookie city.

Feedback

Our instructor told us to always record our progress during the first exercise and take photos to save.
When making statistics, you need to remember to classify the data clearly and accurately.

Reflection

Through this study, I learned that when counting the number of items, the data must be accurate and the types clear.
When making information posters, you need to ensure that the posters are beautiful, the layout is appropriate, and the content is accurate, simple and clear.
